Located directly on the Rhine, behind the Electoral Palace, the Ufer-Bar offers festival wines, refreshing drinks and delicious snacks. Be enchanted by the impressive backdrop and experience unforgettable evenings in the open air.

Start the festival spring with us!
Opening ceremony
The Koblenz Wine Festival is traditionally opened by Lord Mayor David Langner. The mobile vinotheque from the Koblenz-Touristik GmbH takes centre stage on this day. The 10 festival wines of 2025 from the wine city of Koblenz and the Moselle, Middle Rhine and Ahr wine-growing regions can be tasted for the first time with musical accompaniment.

Festival wine tastings
To mark the start of the Koblenz Wine Festival, we invite you to taste our select festival wines at the 10-glass festival wine tasting right next to the Schängelbrunnen.Sample the wines during a moderated wine tasting. Mineral water and bread will also be served.
The ticket for the wine tasting is valid on the day of the event as a VRM ticket for the outward and return journey (2nd class) on all buses and local trains.

Spring wine tasting
The Lord Mayor and Koblenz vintners invite you to the 2025 spring wine tasting.It is already a tradition that the Koblenz vintners, in cooperation with the Lord Mayor of Koblenz, offer a diverse selection of their wines and sparkling wines to anyone interested at their wine stands for tasting every year.
Although most available wines will be of the Riesling variety, there will also be a nice selection of wines from other white and red grape varieties in almost all quality levels.

The most popular wine receives the title of "WeinKaiserWein 2025", which it will hold for one year.
