Opening ceremony
The Koblenz Wine Festival is traditionally opened by Lord Mayor David Langner.The mobile vinotheque from the Koblenz-Touristik GmbH takes centre stage on this day. Here, the festival wines of 2026 from the wine city of Koblenz as well as the Moselle, Middle Rhine, Ahr and Rhine-Hesse wine-growing regions can be tasted for the first time with musical accompaniment.

Taste the festival wines!
Festival wine tastings
To mark the start of the Koblenz Wine Festival, we invite you to taste our select festival wines at a wine tasting.Samples will be provided during the moderated wine tasting. Mineral water and bread will also be served.
The ticket for the wine tasting is also valid on the day of the event as a VRM ticket for the outward and return journey (2nd class) on all buses and local trains.

Pop Up Wine Bar!
Blaue Stunde
From work, straight to the vibes! On picnic blankets and lounge furniture, with chill sounds in your ears and a glass of riesling in your hand, we celebrate the best time of the day—the end of the workday!There are two Blaue Stunde events, spanning 2 days each in 2026.

Vinotheque on Tour
Enjoy a great start to the weekend at relaxed evening get togethers with the Vinothek on Tour. The festival wines, local musicians and the special atmosphere make these evenings one of the festival highlights.Admission is free.

The Augusta Fest offers a varied programme for visitors of all ages.The historic Kaiserin-Augusta promenade in Koblenz is transformed into a lively festival mile that emphasises culture, volunteering, culinary delights and entertainment.
Regional catering, info and hawker stalls, hands-on activities for children and much more await you throughout the grounds.

It's time to crown the WeinKaiserWein, the most popular wine among visitors of the Koblenz Wine Festival.During the wine festival, all visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favorite wine. The most popular wine receives the title of "WeinKaiserWein 2026", which it will hold for one year.
