Opening ceremony
A ceremonial introduction to the Koblenz Wine Festival with a presentation of the festival wines will take place in front of Schängelbrunnen on Willi-Hörter-Platz.On this day, the focus will be on the mobile vinotheque of Koblenz-Touristik GmbH: the 10 festival wines of 2024 from Weinstadt Koblenz and the Moselle, Middle Rhine and Ahr wine-growing regions can be tasted for the first time with musical accompaniment.

10er festival wine tasting
To mark the start of the Koblenz Wine Festival, we invite you to taste our selected festival wines at the 10-person festival wine tasting right next to Schängelbrunnen.During the moderated wine tasting, we serve ten sips of wine. Mineral water and bread will be served on site.
The wine tasting ticket is valid on the day of the event as a VRM ticket for the outward and return journey (2nd class) on all buses and local trains.

AUGUSTA Festival
Koblenz's Kaiserin-Augusta-Anlagen will be transformed into a promenade for the Augusta Festival, inviting young and old to linger in the historic Rheinanlagen. There will be musical performances by regional choirs and ensembles, readings in historical costumes, Empress Augusta strolling through Rheinanlagen, games for children and families as well as numerous information and catering stands from Koblenz associations and institutions.
